Teknisa's applications are built to work on the internet as well as on the intranet or any local network. They are accessed through an IP (internet protocol) address. The operation is done on any site that is  linked to the internet, according to band requirements defined by Teknisa.

In case of companies that have no access to the internet the application can be installed in the local area network so that one can send the changes carried out on this site through an integration routine availabe in the application. Teknisa understands the convergency of several technologies such as computer, internet, cell phone, mobile devices (PDAs), Digital Tv and other electronic devices as they were only one. The result will be a single technology for operating computers of all types: desktop, palm top, pocket, cell phones (smartphones, etc.), PDAs (iPod, MP4 and others to come), TVs (Digital LCD TV, pocket TVD, etc.).

The basic technology for such applications development in this new world to come in the next decade will be the JAVA. This technology is already largely used in several corporative environments. Presently, it's getting established as the framework for applications that are being developed worldwide for the Digital TV, and now also in Brazil. That's why Teknisa created, in 2007, a specific R&D center for the development of JAVA-based applications. Thus, by the time this technology becomes part of people and companies' everyday life, Teknisa will be ready to set its solutions available for the market.
