This does not occur when a horizontal solution provider and a generalist is hired

 

If there is need for implementations, the tools used for the develompment is: Delphi for Rich Client applications and ASP for Thin Client applications.

 

Customizations into “outgoing documents” (reports, files, spreadsheet, etc.) can be set by the client without the need to request the modifications from Teknisa. And of course, there will be no cost for implementation. The client can also request a customization, in this case all the development is made at Teknisa.

 

All customizations and requests which are opened through the website remain available in it so that client can track the whole process.

 

Updates
 

Teknisa ensures periodic sending of new system versions to clients. The updates also occur everytime changes, additional routines or improvements are needed. The company holds a version release plan in which 3 to 4 versions are scheduled to be launched per year. We set available a manual titled “What is new in version XXX” for clients to get information about all new features included in the new versions.

 

Moreover, there are also changes by means of patches. In this modality, we provide clients with updates to solve their problems in case of emergency. Teknisa's systems updates are available on the official website, whether they are made through versions, patch or bug-fixes, in which the client is able to download update packages on his own.

 

All versions and patches are supplied with detailed explanation about “what is new”. The user receives a requests list together with the version containing the description of what has been implemented in each one.

 

For installation of the version in the client's environment, Teknisa's systems are added with a specific tool to make this procedure easier. On the website clients can watch the full evolution of their requests, step by step, and identify the professional responsible for each stage.
 

All relationship with Teknisa must be formalized and registered on the website, and such procedures work as  follow-up and management tool of the requests.
